Dr Vokins Is Leaving Us

Dr. Amanda Vokins will be Leaving us at the end of October 2024 after 22 years of caring for patients, families, and staff at Blofield Surgery as a GP.

During this period, both the NHS and the village of Blofield have seen enormous changes, with our patient list growing from 4,600 in 1997, with over 8,600 today. Throughout this time, Dr. Vokins has expressed how it has been a pleasure and privilege to serve the local community, seeking to maintain a patient-focused family general practice service delivered in a modern, efficient manner.

Amanda said, “I wanted to let you know that I will be leaving the surgery at the end of October. It has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to care for you and your families over the past 22 years. Thank you for the kindness and gratitude you’ve shown me, not forgetting your patience too! The partners and staff would like to thank Dr. Vokins for her commitment and service to the practice over the years, which has helped guide the surgery to where we are today.
