Dr Mark Gaskin – Retirement Notice

Posted by: katiedoughty - Posted on:

Dr Mark Gaskin will be retiring on 29th of June 2021 after 24 years of caring for the patients, families and staff at Blofield Surgery as a GP partner.

During this period both the NHS and the village of Blofield have seen enormous changes with our patient list growing from 4600 in 1997 to 7300 today. Throughout this time Dr Gaskin has led and guided the practice, seeking to maintain a patient-focused family General Practice service delivered in a modern efficient manner.

Mark says… “ It has been a privilege to care for the people of Blofield and the surrounding area, many of whom have become friends. I will miss patients and staff alike and wish you all a happy, healthy future.”

The Partners and staff would like to thank Dr Gaskin for his commitment and service to the practice over the years which has helped guide the surgery to it’s current popularity and success.  We will all miss his leadership and wise advice and wish him all the very best for the future.

If you would like to contribute some words and/or your memories of Dr Gaskin, we would be delighted to accept these so we can create a book for Dr Gaskin’s retirement.  You can either take a card (ask at reception or dispensary) or email or post your works to us.  Email address: [email protected]
